Allowing returns and exchanges could create opportunities for people to buy a figure, open it and potentially damage it, then return it for a full refund, essentially "renting" the figure for free. This can be unfair to both the seller and other collectors who genuinely want to purchase the figure.

Hygienic concerns:Â Once a figure is opened and removed from its packaging, especially if intended for children, it becomes difficult to guarantee its sanitary condition for resale. This is especially important for figures that come into contact with children's mouths or hands.

Packaging integrity:Â Toy figure packaging is often part of the collectible value and experience. Once opened, the packaging loses much of its value and the figure may become less desirable to other buyers.
